  1. Income Tax Day or ‘Aaykar Diwas’ is observed annually in India on 24 July to commemorate the introduction of provision of income tax in the country in the year 1860.
  2. National Mango Day is annually observed on 22 July which is dedicated to the nutritious and one of the most-relished fruit, and to celebrate mango’s cultural importance, popularity, and versatility in culinary delights.
  3. Truecaller, the world’s leading global communications platform, has launched AI powered Truecaller Assistant in India to filter fraud.
  4. Tata Group has announced that it will be investing $5 billion to build a 40 Gigawatt (GW) battery cell Gigafactory in the UK that will deliver electric mobility and renewable energy storage solutions.
  5. Sat Pal Bhanoo, who is currently serving as the Additional Zonal Manager at LIC of India’s Zonal Office in Bhopal, has been appointed as the new Managing Director of the company by succeeding Siddhartha Mohanty.
